His legacy
Dad
He was a good dad. He loved his children and was so very proud of them. I can remember when each of our children were born the first day we brought each of them home from the hospital he would pick them up in his arms and go for a walk. I would look out and see him walking around holding that small baby in his arms. I know he was telling them how precious they were and how he was going to do his best to be a good dad. How much he loved them was evident to anyone that knew him. He definitely accomplished the goal of being a good dad. I think he surpassed his own expectations in that department.
Husband
I don't think there is enough room on this page to tell you what he meant to me. He was a wonderful husband. He gave me his love and devotion. He provided me with a good home and I always knew he had my back. He taught me so much about love, life, and laughter. He was the center of my world and I will forever be grateful to God for allowing us to share our lives with each other.
Brother
I can remember the countless stories he would tell about growing up with his siblings. He was the third of six kids and loved being a part of a big family. He loved his brothers and sisters very much and was always there for them if they needed him.
Son
He was a devoted son. He was always there for his dad at any time and loved him unconditionally. He was a true momma's boy. His mom could do no wrong in his eyes. He loved her and had a wonderful relationship with her, he was proud to call her mom. When things were hard on them financially he took on the role of provider. He was someone that they could count on to take care of them. He was always someone that could be counted on..
